TeleScrapbook is a sticker book with a geeky twist. Instead of brightly colored illustrations, this electronic sticker book is designed with “I/O stickers” — adhesive sensors and actuators — and can wirelessly communicate with a corresponding book.
Placing a sensor sticker on a page activates an actuator sticker on another book.
The project is developed by Natalie Freed, Jie Qi, Adam Setapen from the high/low tech group at MIT. The concept of electronic stickers is quite fun but missing from this project is a story that can be wrapped around the novel electronics to make the experience more meaningful.
