Nice tutorial on how to make a mitten that lights up when you hold hands, shake hands or give some-one a “high-five.”
The mitten is designed with two pieces of conductive fabric located around the thumb and across the palm that when touched by bare, ungloved skin turns on the LED. If you are going to knit your own mitten, you can also knit the conductive contact points using conductive yarn.
This is a great beginner soft circuit project that doesn’t use an expensive microprocessor— so you can make one for yourself and your friends.
