Translucent strands of fiber optics and conductive fibers are integrated with blades of grass to create an illuminated, interactive landscape. I can imagine walking across a field of grass early in the morning and having trails of light pool around me with each step. There is certainly something magical in the interactive sod concept created by Frits Stam. Personally, I’m looking forward to large environmental installation. Enjoy the video.
