Magnhild Disington is a mixed media artist whose work focuses on material experimentation and developing materials for visual trend analysis. Her MA project Deviated Evolution focused on the relationship between individuals and their portable electronics. Through materials experimentation, Disington explored the emotional value materials can bring to electronic devices.
Modern Amulet
With The Modern Amulet, an extension of her MA project, Disington balances the emotional value between the information we carry and the objects we use to carry them.

Future Connections
Future Connections is a set of futuristic phone concepts that question the aesthetics of electronics devices. It is created as a culutral probe and is meant to provide inspiration as to the what these products can look and feel like in the future.
