The lovely Leah Buechley has created yet another amazing soft circuit. Using ordinary thread for the top thread and conductive thread for the bobbin, she machine-stitched conductive paths for this fabric LED matrix. The fabric itself behaves as an insulator to prevent the wires from shorting. Each SMD LED then was hand-stitched. It appears that the matrix is being controlled by the Lilypad Arduino (another of her great creations).
