Building on yesterday’s post for a momentary escape from a public environment, Veasyble is a set of wearable accessories that screen the eyes, ears, face and upper body, providing a space for intimacy. A bag unfolds cocooning the entire body; a decorative collar transforms into a sound-muting hood; a flamboyant hairpiece twists to screen the eyes; and a cap unfurls to shield the face.
The four piece collection was designed by Gloria Pizzilli, Arianna Petrakis, Ilaria Pacini, and Adele Bacc and made from paper bonded to polyethylene and fabric. Each accessory is pleated with the same pattern with the only difference being scale. Now wouldn’t these accessories be magical animated with Nitinol?
